Inspire Education Community Trust was established in June 2016 by the governing body of Yew Tree Community School.

Yew Tree Community School is a Talk for Writing training centre; a centre of excellence for the teaching of writing.

In July 2017 Inspire gained ‘sponsor’ status and in September 2018, City Road Primary School joined Inspire Education Community Trust as the first sponsored school.

We are passionate about children’s education; we strongly believe that we have the ability to transform lives and improve the life chances of our children.

Our trust is established on the principles of learning together, challenging ourselves and working with everyone in the interests of all children.

Yew Tree Community School and City Road Primary School work closely together to share good practice and support and challenge each other to improve further.

Our schools serve their own communities and each school retains its own unique identity. We are bound together by our mission to ensure a great education for our children.
